For each baked item, I test my glycemic index over 4 hours around the time I eat it. For each baked good on this page, I did this with the most popular store-bought version, and then did my own baked version. The goal of this was to test if you can still make a delicious treat that is better for the body.
For each, I weighed out the same amount and fasted prior to eating the treat so the data should only reflect the item. I also did minimal movement after so it could hopefully show as accurately as possible the effects of the item.
NOTE: movement is great for lower that spike after eating as your body is using that glucose.
